Health, Safety and Environmental Policy

ATS will employ a responsible and sustainable approach to protect our staff and the environment in the course of providing our customers and clients with a high quality service.

Our objectives regarding health, safety and the environment are to:

  • Protect the health and safety of our staff and other affected by our operations.
  • Comply with the laws and regulations of Qatar.
  • Commit to minimising the environmental impacts of our activities and prevent pollution.
  • Achieve efficient use of materials and energy.
  • Create a culture in which ATS and contractor staff are encouraged to share our commitment to HSE at work and at home.
  • Play a leading role in promoting best HSE practice within the Qatar and be recognized as a good corporate citizen.

These objectives will be met by adopting a formal Health, Safety and Environment Management System to:

  • Comply with International Standards in line with ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001.
  • Achieve continuous improvement in HSE performance.
  • Establish HSE in all aspects of work activities..
  • Identify health, safety and environmental hazards from risk assessments and provide adequate control measures, information, instruction, training and or Personal Protective Equipment.
  • Empower employees to start work ONLY when conditions are safe and to stop when unsafe.
  • Establish objectives and targets; measure, appraise and report HSE performance.
  • Include HSE performance in the appraisal of all employees and reward accordingly.
  • Champion environmental protection from the highest level.

We will ensure that adequate human and financial resources are made available to meet the requirements of the HSE policy, including the mitigation measures identified during risk assessments.

Staff will be provided with specific HSE training to ensure that they are able to work in a safe and controlled manner which reduces the risk to others, themselves and the environment.

The HSE department will be fully involved in the development of the Management System in order to continually improve ATS's activities and services that are provided to customers and clients.

Quality Policy

We in Arabian Technical Services Co. (ATS) are fully committed to provide our valued customers with a service of high Quality as per the expectation of our clients. We will strive to be perceived by our clients as a company whose products, services and support consistently exceed those of our competitors.

  • The policy is to maintaina practical but comprehensive quality system based on it,s stated commitment to customer satisfaction and continuous improvement.
  • We will continuously review our systems to improve our products, services and processes using clearly defined methodologies and making data based decision.
  • We are working to build a company that is regarded by its customersas one they are proud to work with, that communicates with them, listens and responds appropriately.
  • In the event that one of our customers has a problem with our products or our actions, we will react immediately and decisively to overcome it.
  • Wherever possible we will do what we have agreed to do and will keep our customers informed of progress.
  • We strive to be the preferred supplier for our products and services in our chosen field.
  • We aim to comply with the requirements of our ISO certification and continually improve the effectiveness of the Quality Management System.


Smoking Policy

It is Arabian Technical Services (ATS) Policy that all our Employees have a right to work in a smoke free environment. Smoking is prohibited by law in all enclosed and substantially enclosed premises; This policy applies to all employees, contractors, consultants, customers and visitors to ATS premises.


Whilst overall responsibility for this policy rests with the Executive Management, they in turn delegate this power to their Senior Management Team, HS&E Manager, Line Managers and supervisors to enforce.

All staff employed by ATS are obliged to adhere to, and support the implementation of this policy. The Senior Management Team will inform all existing employees, contractors, consultants, customers, members and visitors of the policy and their roles in the implementation of the policy.

No Smoking signs will be clearly displayed at the entrance to and within the premises.

Designated Smoking Area

A smoking designated area is provided and Employees, consultants, customers, and visitors may use this area for the purpose of smoking only. They are not permitted to start smoking before entering or whilst exiting the designated area or smoke in any area not designated for smoking
